New Slow Food Anglia Blog
This is the new Blog for Slow Food Anglia, part of Slow Food England and the wider Slow Food International organisation which was founded in the 1980's in Italy to promote good local, healthy food.
Slow Food Anglia was formed in late 2014 and members of Slow Food Norwich which has been in existence since 2010 made up the first tranche of the new membership. The group now covers the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex in the East of England and works closely with other Slow Food groups in England, Italy, Holland and Malta.
We are also working toward the opening new groups in East Anglia in 2015 and 2016, and at the moment this includes reopening the Slow Food Cambridge group and opening new groups in Kings Lynn, Colchester, Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds.

We have also launched our Slow Food Approved business scheme based on the successful London scheme which started there in 2014 and already has over 150 members.Slow food Anglia aims to have one hundred members by the end of 2015 and already have several Norfolk based food and drink businesses as members, including Humpty Dumpty Brewery in Reedham, Louis' Deli in Norwich, FirePitCamp in Wendling and the Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton.
